Purposes
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver consulting work, manage engagements, improve the site, meet legal obligations, and — where you have consented — understand aggregated visit patterns via analytics cookies.
Legal basis and Privacy Act
We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. We collect what is reasonably necessary for the purposes above and take reasonable steps to keep it accurate and secure.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing relationship or legal claim. Engagement files are retained for seven years after the engagement ends, or longer if required for tax or dispute purposes. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers who host email, storage, or analytics on our behalf, under obligations to protect the data. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Some providers may store or process data outside New Zealand (for example in Australia or the United States). Where that occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards, including contractual protections where appropriate.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to personal information we hold about you and seek correction of inaccurate information. To exercise these rights, email info@evolvingtechnet.digital. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner if you are not satisfied with our response.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive details by email.
Children
This site and our consulting services are directed at adult business decision-makers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
