Engagement

How an Evolving Technet consultation moves from first call to a brief your managers can use.

Service firms rarely need another binder of theory. They need a finite piece of work with a clear ending. This page describes how we structure that work so owners know what happens week by week.

  1. Discovery call

A short conversation to confirm that operational improvement consulting is the right fit. We ask about team size, sites, and the friction you can already name. If we are not the right practice, we say so.

  2. Written proposal

You receive a scoped outline: consultation type, people we need access to, timeline, fee, and what is out of bounds. No work starts until you accept that outline.

  3. Kick-off and access

We agree the sample week, interview list, and how we will move around your premises without disrupting clients. Confidentiality expectations are confirmed in writing.

  4. Fieldwork

Interviews, observation, and review of job sheets or diaries. We look for where time pools, where standards vary by person, and where decisions wait for someone who is already overloaded.

  5. Findings brief

A plain-language document with ranked actions. We present it to the owner and a nominated manager, answer questions, and leave the brief with you.

  6. Optional check-in

Four to six weeks later we can schedule a short session to review what stuck and what needs adjusting. This is optional and quoted separately.

What we ask of you

Honest access beats polished presentations. Supervisors should feel free to describe the week as it is, not as the marketing brochure describes it. One internal contact who can open calendars and introduce people saves everyone time.

Natural next step

Browse the consultations or request a discovery call if you already know which pressure point to examine first.
